Luckily, the research-backed ingredients in Foundation offer a safe, preventative solution for both long and short term use.
Don’t take any chances; build a strong Foundation for your horse by giving them healthier hooves.

The Foundation by Pilot Equine Blend
Foundation uses seven ingredients, which all contribute to healthy hooves. As well as complete hoof protection, the nutritional profile of Foundation by Pilot Equine can also ensure the healthy growth and development of your horse.
19.5mg BIOTIN - Biotin is an essential vitamin involved in numerous vital functions of the horse, including energy metabolism, fatty acid synthesis and cell regeneration. However, it's most often used as one of the effective nutrients for improving hoof quality, and thus, the overall health of your horse. [1, 2]
5,200mg DL METHIONINE - Methionine is one of the building blocks of protein and essential amino acid. It helps to produce cysteine, which is needed for the formation of collagen that adds strength and elasticity to your horse's coat, skin, and hooves.
146mg ZINC - Zinc is a trace mineral that plays several critical roles in the horse's body. It allows the protein to bind to DNA, enhances antioxidant function, supports bone building, and is critical for the hoove strength and white line at the sole of your horse's foot. Typically found in low amounts in forage analysis, and blocked by high levels of other minerals that it competes with, supplementing zinc to your horse is a smart idea if you want to avoid deficiency.
675mg VITAMIN C - Being essential for the formation of collagen, vitamin C helps the horse's body create new connective tissues. This includes the joints, ligaments and hooves.
450mg METHYLSULFONYLMETHANE (MSM) - MSM is a sulfur compound essential for protein synthesis. Protein, in turn, is needed to make and maintain nerves, muscles and hooves of your horse. Supplementing with MSM can help your horse's mobility, along with reducing levels of inflammations and promoting blood flow to the horse's muscles. [5, 6]
3,000mg YEA-SACC 1026 - YEA-SACC is a live yeast culture that contributes to a healthier gastrointestinal tract of your horse. It supports the digestion of fibre, providing more energy, strengthening immunity and improving digestion of calcium and phosphorus for greater bone strength. [7, 9]
1,640mg CALCIUM - Calcium is important for the whole-body health of the horse. Although most of the calcium in the horse's body is found in the bones and the teeth, it's also essential for the release of chemicals from nerve endings, regulation of blood pressure, insulin release, and muscle contractions.
